Terms and conditions

These are the terms on which Shakthi Shiv Manufacturing sells to you and on which you use this site. Placing an order means accepting them. We will not hold you to a term that is not written here.

Returns and refunds

You have 7 days from delivery to start a return. Goods must be unused and in the condition and packaging you received them in — for paper stock that means reams, cartons and wrappers unopened, since an opened ream cannot be resold.

Once a return reaches us and passes inspection, we refund within 5 days to the account the payment came from. If a return is rejected on inspection we will tell you why before sending the goods back.

If you are changing your mind, return carriage is yours to pay and to arrange. Goods that are faulty, short or off-specification are collected at our cost, and must be reported within 7 days of delivery — we will replace or credit the consignment. Nothing here removes your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which apply whether or not they are written down.

Orders, prices and payment

• An order placed on this site is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm dispatch, and until then we may decline or cancel an order — for example if stock or pricing turns out to be wrong.
• All prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. The price you see is the price you pay; tax is contained within it, not added at checkout.
• Bulk lines carrying a minimum order quantity are not sold through the cart. They are quoted, and the quoted rate is the rate charged. A quoted rate is held for 15 days from the date we send it; after that we re-quote, because pulp and freight prices move.
• Payment is taken at checkout. We do not receive or store your card details — payment is handled by our payment provider.

Delivery, risk and title

Carriage is charged by the weight of the consignment and shown before you pay. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have been paid in full, so goods delivered against unpaid credit remain ours until settled.

Using this site

• You agree not to interfere with the running of the site or its services, or to attempt access to any part of it you have not been given.
• The text, images and product data on this site are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. Trade customers may use our product images to resell our goods; anything further needs our permission.
• Keep your account password to yourself. You are responsible for orders placed from your account.

Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — a print run missed because a consignment ran late, for example. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to exclude, and nothing above limits the rights of a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of India. We have not named an exclusive forum, so where a dispute is heard is decided by law rather than by this agreement — which for a consumer generally means it can be raised where you are, not only where we are.
